Bretonnians were not my first army, but they were
my first real army - meaning they're the first army I started
playing when I got back into Warhammer after a few years out of the
hobby.
I painted them up especially for the Albion
Campaign, and went down to the Hammersmith GW to play games during
my lunch hours - and remember with pride charging ashore and making
my landing in the face of an artillery barrage.
I've played Bretonnians pretty solidly since Dogs
of War stopped being tournament legal, and they're right up my
alley: tactically limited, hard hitting and tough.
